  • 1 cup mixed strawberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust as needed)
  • 8 cups water (divided)
  • Fresh berries and mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice strawberries, removing tops.
  2. Puree strawberries in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Boil 2 cups of water; remove from heat and steep tea bags for 15-20 minutes.
  4. In another saucepan, combine strawberry puree, sugar, and 1 cup of water; simmer until syrup forms.
  5. Strain syrup through a fine mesh strainer.
  6. Remove tea bags, squeeze excess liquid, then mix brewed tea and syrup in a large pitcher.
  7. Add remaining cold water and stir well.
  8. Refrigerate until chilled.
