  • 75g kataifi (or crushed rice noodles/cornflakes for gluten-free)
  • 40g plant-based butter
  • 140g pistachio paste (or almond butter)
  • 600g fresh strawberries
  • 300g Nutella (or sugar-free dark chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread chopped kataifi on a baking sheet and drizzle with melted butter. Toast until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  2. In a bowl, mix toasted kataifi with pistachio paste and optional sea salt.
  3. Wash and prepare strawberries by slicing them into halves or quarters.
  4. Melt Nutella in a microwave-safe bowl in short bursts until smooth.
  5. Layer strawberries, then the kataifi-pistachio mixture, followed by melted Nutella in dessert cups until filled.
  6. Top with an extra-large strawberry and reserved kataifi for decoration. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
