  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup white buttercream icing
  • Blue food coloring
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie cupcake mix with one large egg and 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Line a cupcake tin with liners and pour the batter into each liner, filling them halfway.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  5. Divide the buttercream icing into two bowls; tint one with blue food coloring. Warm both in the microwave for about 10 seconds to soften.
  6. Pipe one color onto each cupcake in rosette shapes, then sprinkle with patriotic sprinkles.
