  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, room temp
  • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and sprinkle yeast over it; let sit until frothy.
  2. In a bowl, combine sugar, flour, eggs, salt, and melted butter. Add the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  3. Allow the dough to rise in a warm spot until it doubles in size (about 1 hour).
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with filling made from softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Roll up tightly, slice into pieces, place in a greased baking dish, and let rise again for 30 minutes.
