  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Black pepper
  • 3 jalapeños
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, oregano, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (overnight preferred).
  3. Make the Creamy Green Sauce: Blend jalapeños, cilantro leaves, green onions, garlic, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, black pepper, and olive oil until smooth.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  5. Serve: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serve with creamy green sauce.
