  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb bowtie pasta
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, season chicken cubes with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet and cook the seasoned chicken until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Set aside.
  3. Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain.
  4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Whisk together flour and milk; add to skillet.
  5. Gradually stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, then add cheeses until melted and smooth.
  6. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce and fold in cooked chicken.
  7. Transfer to a dish, top with remaining mozzarella cheese, and broil until bubbly.
