  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 16.9 ounce bag mini M&Ms (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  3. Gradually mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until just combined to avoid overmixing.
  4. Fold in mini chocolate chips and one cup of mini M&Ms; set aside the remaining candies for topping.
  5. Scoop small amounts of dough into balls and press into reserved M&Ms before placing on prepared sheets.
  6. Bake for about 6-8 minutes until bottoms are golden; cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
