  • 2 large bell peppers (green, red, or a mix), diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz (1 package) cream cheese
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and bell peppers; cook until softened, about 5-6 minutes. Stir in minced garlic for another 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet; season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, breaking up the meat with a spatula (about 7-8 minutes).
  4. Stir in vinegar and mix well.
  5. Reduce heat to low; add softened cream cheese and stir until melted and combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture into the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Layer provolone cheese on top, followed by shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Allow resting for 5 minutes before serving.
