Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, sugar, and salt until crumbly. Press into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking dish to form the crust.
  3. In another bowl, mix apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the apple mixture over the crust. In a separate bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, and additional flour; sprinkle this mixture over the apples.
  5. Bake for about 40 minutes or until golden brown on top and apples are tender.
