  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt or loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  7. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, and ground cinnamon until combined.
  8. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Spoon half of the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter.
  10. Pour remaining batter over the swirl layer.
  11. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon swirl on top; gently swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  12. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  13. Whisk together powdered sugar, honey, milk, and vanilla until smooth to make the honey glaze. Adjust milk to reach desired consistency.
  14. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cake. Let set before slicing.
