  • ⅓ cup honey (for simple syrup)
  • ⅓ cup water (for simple syrup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease an 8-inch round cake pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl; set aside.
  3. In a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about two minutes).
