  • 1000 grams chuck or braising steak
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 cm fresh ginger, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 3 cm cinnamon stick
  • 1 piece dried bay leaf
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping the vegetables and meat as listed.
  2. (Optional) Sauté onions, garlic, and ginger in a pan with oil until soft and fragrant.
