  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of your choice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the fettuccine until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and cook the chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  5. Pour in heavy cream, simmer gently for about 3 minutes while stirring.
  6. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth; season as desired.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet with the drained pasta; toss everything together until well-coated.
