  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry; season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, warm olive oil or butter. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same skillet, add broccoli florets; sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Stir in minced garlic; cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet; add soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together; sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Serve immediately while hot.
