  • 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 10 whole cloves garlic
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or plant-based alternative)
  • Italian seasonings
  • Salt/Pepper
  • ⅓ cup flour
  • 1 beef bouillon cube (or 1 tsp better than bouillon)
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon EACH: Dried thyme, mustard powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings, then dredge them in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic cloves, cooking until golden brown.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the garlic and stir before gradually whisking in chicken broth. Add beef bouillon, soy sauce, onion powder, thyme, and mustard powder; simmer until thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet; stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
