  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Cinnamon Granola

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 cup water. Stir until dissolved, then cook without stirring until it turns golden brown. Remove from heat and whisk in 1/4 cup unsalted butter, followed by 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream and salt. Allow to cool.
  2. Toss diced Granny Smith apples with 2 tsp lemon juice, 1/8 tsp nutmeg, 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and 4 tbsp brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
