  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup cooked rice

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onion until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and stir in garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Layer the cooked beef mixture in the baking dish. Top with chopped cabbage, then pour undrained diced tomatoes over the cabbage. Sprinkle with cooked rice and shredded cheddar cheese. Pour beef broth evenly over the layers.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for about 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
