  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3 oz dark chocolate bar, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch; set aside.
  2. Cream the room-temperature butter with granulated and brown sugars using a stand mixer until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
  3. Add the egg and egg yolk along with the vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture on low speed until just combined.
