  • ¼ cup chicken broth

  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water (for slurry)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange chicken thighs skin-side up in a baking dish with space between each piece.
  3. In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, chicken broth, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry and stir it into the simmering sauce until thickened.
  5. Pour the thickened glaze over the chicken thighs and bake uncovered for 45–60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste halfway through cooking.
