  • 12 tablespoons honey
  • 12 tablespoons fig preserves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Coarse sugar, for sprinkling (optional)
  • Chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and place the brie in the center.
